Making iron on t shirts!?

My husband is making tshirt for his employees and we keep running into problems. PLEASE HELP US!!!

1. The t shirt must be black and the logo is red, so an iron on transfer would show up black in the cut outs of the logo, where we need it to be white. Normal printers don’t print white, only professional printers… next problem.

2. I called all of the professional printers in the area and they all print with laser jet which is too high of a temp for the iron on paper which must be printer with an inkjet printer, or it melt the paper, ruining the printer.

3. So then we thought using vinyl. Has anyone ever used vinyl on a regular 100% cotton tee? Does it adhese well? does it stay on well?

We have to have the t shirt done by tomorrow morning and i feel it is impossible. we would just order them from a screen printing company but they only print in bulk and we dont need that many. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

You just need to buy transfer paper for dark fabrics. It will print opaque white over the black. This is what I used on a navy blue shirt. works great!

You can get it here:

http://www.printonit.com/

or one of the sites here:

I would not recommend you attempt the vinyl. There’s not enough time.

Good luck!
