is this too much to ask?

=I live in a small town with nowhere to buy any kind of clothes and I live with my dad only, not my mom. Today we are going to kelowna and I asked my dad if he would be able to drop me off at the mall so I could buy some summer clothes like shorts and a few shirts while he goes to drop off the horse at the ranch up the mountain. He said no, but that he’d take me to wherever I needed afterwards. The thing is that I don’t want to go shopping with my dad (bra’s and stuff) , and I also don’t want to be rushed. I REALLY need some clothes as I havent got any new clothes since last august, and all of those were for back to school so they are like pants and hoodies etc. Is it really too much to ask that a 16 year old girl cant have some time to her own to go shopping at least once a year? I’m spending my own money and I just really think that the problem is that he doesn’t understand that I need to be able to take my time and not be constantly watched

No, that is not too much to ask. You should just tell him what you explained your question, just be like dad, i really just want to go shopping by myself, i dont want to be rushed and i really need new clothes. Please just drop me off, im spending my own money and i dont think thats too much to ask. im 15 i would like to go shopping without being rushed. Something like that. Good luck
