Should I be aloud to wear a tight shirt?

I am 12 years old, I weigh somewhere around 130 and I am 5″3. I want to wear this vampire shirt tomorrow and it fits me but I have to suck in my stomach to be able not to see my belly. My mom said I shouldn’t suck it in, but I don’t want everyone to see it. But all of the girls at my school wear tight shirts and this one girl wears tight shirts and her belly sticks out, I mean you can see it. But I don’t want to wear it and look fat. And is my weight normal for me?

That’s silly of your mom to say you shouldn’t suck it in. My mom told me the opposite. Sucking it in actually trains your abs to be flat. When I was little, my stomach used to protrude and my mom would always tell me to suck it in, but I still would not suck it in. It wasn’t until I was about 12 or 13 that I habitually sucked it in and I saw a difference. If you do it all the time and remember to suck it in, it will become an automatic habit. Also, stand up straight and sit up straight, so you’re not scrunching your belly, which only causes it to stay less-than-flat. You’ll be surprised what a difference it makes to stand up straight. Also, you don’t have to do endless cardio to get abs. You can do something fun, like your favorite sport, bike riding, and swimming. Even walking your dog or jogging counts as cardio. I’ve discovered that you can rub away belly fat with your hand. Yes, your weight is normal for you and I’m sure you have a lovely figure. If you want proof, use a BMI calculator.
