Why does Andy Warhol paintings and art become so famous? The answer may lie in the philosophy of the artist in relation to art. Andy Warhol believed that art can and should be mass produced and that art can be made out of everyday objects. This was a radical new idea in the world of art, because art was seen as something high and not connected to people's daily life.
Andy Warhol's mission was to connect the natural world around us with the art world. Therefore used everyday objects like Campbell's soup can and cases of Coca Cola to make a statement of art. A lot of people who were not interested in art before he became fascinated and so Andy Warhol created a new public art everything. Even today, people who are not normally interested in art will appreciate many of the pictures Warhol's art and creative projects.
Besides Andy Warhol's art is not something only for the wealthy art collector. Because many of the paintings by Andy Warhol are mass produced in an original prices dropped dramatically and a lot of people with normal income could afford an original Andy Warhol. Later, many of Andy Warhol's famous paintings have appeared on everything from bags to shirts – just the way Andy Warhol wanted.
Andy Warhol seems that struck a chord between people. His motives have become an icon and his art remains on display throughout the world. But Andy Warhol was never interested in becoming famous just for the sake of it. His art has always been radical and never tried to please the public. Ironically, maybe that is the reason that has become so popular?
