Hello,just wondering if anyone knows the best materials needed to start a t-shirt brand?

I have a t-shirt press at the moment and want to print my own designs using a printer and a cutter. I need to know how I get the different sort of materials e.g vinyl, and how it all works (as in, do you use the materials the same as paper for a printer? Is it really important to have a cutter?).
