Whats the best and cheapest way to make good quality printed clothing?

I want a cheap way to make nice decals and personalized T-shirts, hoodies, pants and anything else you can think of I was looking at the yudu screen printing machine for like $ 230.00 but not to sure if its the right way to go I have like a 400.00 limit but supplies add up just wanted to get some suggestions for what i should get or any personal ideas if you were me thanks in advance

I believe Joanns is having a sale on the Yudu for $199.00 this or next week. If you decide to go the Yudu route you can at least save 30 dollars. The only thing special about the Yudu is they condensed all of the operations of screen printing into a small package. You can buy other screen printing products at a fraction of the price. For example instead of using transparencies we are using velum or you can find transparencies online at a good discount. Also we have been using Speedball Inks and Emulsion which you should be able to get locally at Micheals or Hobby Lobby. Typically hobby lobby has 30%-40% coupons on their site that you can print out and save a few more bucks. If you use the Speedball emulsion you can get a pretty cheap scoop coater on Ebay. You could get either an 11 or 14 scoop coater to coat the screens with emulsion. The price of the scoop coater is a dollar an inch plus five dollars for shipping. You can also use the Yudu squeegee to put the emulsion on as well but looking at Youtube videos the scoop coater looks much easier (ours is in the mail) and probably saves on the emulsion.

The other item you want to get is the yudu pro squeegee or just a normal screen printing squeegee. You will also want extra screens as well if you are doing multiple designs as well. If you do have a Joanns locally sign up for their mail/email fliers and you will get 40% coupons almost weekly that you can use towards screens or the yudu squeegee.

Also after some prelim scouting of products it looks like http://jiffyshirts.com/ has pretty good prices on shirts and etc. without a minimum order quantities.

Check out the Yudu Forums http://www.yuduforums.com/ for more out of your Yudu for less. I read through threads for about a week before deciding the Yudu would do what we want it to and save money by using non Yudu products.
