Hi ,how to refashion my boyfriend’s T shirts, but with finished seams, armhole and neck?

all the diy projects on the internet end up with shirts/tops that don’t have finished edges. I am looking for something that has a more polished look.

What do you want to make them into? I did a cute T – by putting elastic in the arm seam (making it have a “puffy” sleeve – and added braid around the V-neck and down the front – and I split the sides about 4 inches to give a “tunic” look – I’m gotten lots of complements on it -
