My experience with NY City Fairs and shirt image

In 1998 I have a permit from the Street Fair NY City Department of Consumer Affairs gave to me: Dante Zuliani: Document Number 009,699.

I had to rent a place on the streets of the organizers the Street Fair to set up my merchandise, I paid $ 160 for a place of 8 feet long and 4 feet wide.

In 1998 the Memorial Day Street Fair, I I got a place in Astoria, Queens, on Broadway and 31. Street, right in front of Mcloughins bar. I went with the help of my friend Nicky who paid $ 150 to help me.

We had to build a pavilion with an electrical generator, a computer, printer, camera, scanner, press the heat and all the merchandise for be customized with the client Pictures.

We were ready to start doing business just before 10. When it started raining, "the forecast was for A light drizzle, but it began to rain hard with the wind blowing.

The rain stopped about The 11, that's when some vendors were opening to start doing business. We get ready for business one hour too early, just in time for the rain CACH. At the time the rain stopped, all our goods, T-shirts, mousepads, posters and all hardware, computer, printer, camera and everything was ruined by rain.

It could not be opened business that day, I had to pack up my shirts and all other goods and go home without a business that is done and a deficit of $ 310, $ 150 paid Nicky for helping to unload and reload and then $ 160 I paid for the place of streets.

Since I was rained out, I asked the Promoters for Street Fair repayment of the $ 160 he paid for the place of streets. But he said there should be no refunds made for rain outs.

After that experience, I never went to another fair in the street to make shirts image, or any other image reproduction Gifts
