Do you think walmart or michael’s sells t shirt screenprinting kits??

i really need to know where my husband and i can find those kits. we are starting to make tshirts. so i have to find a place that sells the paint and screen. please help.

I design t-shirts for schools using their mascot, team name, all night party, etc. I use a teacher at one of the schools who set up an octopus printer that prints 8 shirts at a time as his little side business.
He uses a computer program to scan my shirts’ designs on a screen and one design can have up to eight screens and colors. I pay him $25 a screen and it is worth every penny.

Using a silk screen frame and pulling your own ink can be difficult. Mistakes abound and profits go down. Ink smudges from fingers wreck alot of shirts.
In the youtube video, they’re using a small octopus. Benefits of an octopus is that the frames don’t shift out of alignment and it helps in registering the colors correctly.
Check around to see if there is a decent used octopus printer available. It would be well worth the $$ if you plan on any kind of volume.
Michael’s sells the kits, Joann’s sells small tubes of ink. I purchase all my large cans of ink at an art supply store.
