T-shirts using direct printing to garment (DTG) printing, the printing process based on cotton fabrics (ie t-shirts) with a printer inkjet large format is far superior to screen printing, the process of pressing inks into fabric through a stencil. Indeed environmentally friendly, less time consuming and more cost effective for small runs.

DTG tshirt printing is greener than the screen printing. DTG uses water-based inks for printing directly onto the clothing, this means that there is excess printing inks used in the real and only waste produced is the occasional cleaning the print head – also should be noted that the head cleaning does not involve any external material ink only. Of course, the main head cleaning can be avoided by regular maintenance of the printer, and therefore a clean head per day – an issue of ml – is usually sufficient.
