do you need to use special ink when printing transfers onto transfer paper?

i want to buy transfer paper to transfer images from my printer then iron them onto t shirts. do i need special ink or is computer ink fine??? thanks

You don’t need anything special, just your regular printer ink. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, including iron temperature and even the surface you iron on. If you’re printing something with text, remember that you’ll have to reverse the image when you print it, otherwise it will be mirror image on your shirt.
