Surprise for the 21st birthday of a gun loving police officer in training?

My boyfriend is turning 21 in a few weeks. He is currently going to a Police Academy. He just bought a Springfield XD-M 40 and he is obsessed with it. I was hoping someone could help me with some ideas for his birthday. I am one of those that just has to go over the top…

So far on the agenda:
Visiting a police museum that morning
A nice dinner
Spending the night downtown

I planned on buying him a Springfield shirt and some bullets. I thought about taking him to the range, but they are spending all week there in class. He also mentioned wanting some night sights and I agreed to get them for him, but he hasn’t exactly done the research on them.

Any ideas to help make his birthday a success would be appreciated. =]

depends on what you want to spend

around $100 – a weapon mounted flashlight. (go to a police supply store if you don’t know what i’m talking about and ask an officer who’s shopping what they recommend. personally i like insight technology’s stuff)

$40- $50 -asp handcuffs

$25 and under – streamlight stylus or stylus pro pen lights. buy two one for him and one for you (you’ll use it too!) a handcuff key with a light in it. love mine.

any denomination – gift card to the cop shop or gun store

and if you decide to go with the night sights, trijicon model spo1 is a great choice for around $100. hope this helps

and tell him i said he has an awesome girlfriend for wanting to cater to his interests so much.
