How to EXACTLY conceal a hand gun in public in Texas?

I will be taking a Concealed hand gun class in a few days and im fairly familiar with Texas gun laws.
my question is when concealing a handgun in public do you HAVE to wear a jacket to HIDE the gun which is concealed in a holster? I have a shoulder holster that holds my Desert Eagle vertically next to my stomach and in Texas heat i dont like to wear a jacket. Sounds like you should be calling the testing facility to find out. They should have first hand knowledge of these specific regulations.
