What’s the best way to make a “pirate inspired” shirt for the Bus. Admin. Div of our school?

I’m having trouble creating a design for our Division’s shirt this school year which is supposed to be pirate-inspired. Pirates tend to have a negative impression so I don’t know how to incorporate it to the Business Administration Division’s characteristics.

How about a skull with a bluetooth earpiece, crossed fountain pens in place of bones, and a set of perfect teeth?
