How to Put Photoshop Design onto a T-shirt?

I am designing some Vector Images in photoshop, and now i am at the part of the process in which i need to put the image onto a shirt. I know that i need to get Iron on transfer paper and all that. But how do i reverse the image in photoshop and also, how do you make an image design go across the entire shirt and not just an 8×11 image canvas that i am designing on. I want my design to run across the width of my t-shirt but i do not understand how i will go about doing that.

Okie dokie! Reversing the image is really simple! Along the top, there’s a line of drop down menus. Click image and then choose rotate canvas and choose “Flip on horizontal” The image will be reversed.

To make it fit the shirt, I guess you could measure the area you want to cover, then in photoshop go to the image menu again and this time choose image size. Remember to make the little drop down boxes say CM instead of Pixels. Now put in the size you want. If it’s quite big and your image is small. it’ll get stretched and look bad but sadly there isn’t much you can do about that besides touching it up manualy or starting over and doing it in a larger size.
