Emailing a design made on Adobe Illustrator?

Okay i made a design for my friends shirt company. I was working with the t-shirt template Adobe provides you. I want to save it like that so i can email it to my friend and so he can see how it would look on a shirt. The thing is when i save it as “Save for web devices”, it won’t save with the shirt template, just the design, but i want it to save with the design on the shirt so my friend can see. What do i do?

Try saving as .PDF to be opened in Adobe Acrobrat or Reader. I’ve never used an Illustrator template, but Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat/Reader are made to be compatible and will likely work for you.

Edit: If you have Adobe Acrobat or Reader, clicking to open the file should open it in the above program/s so you can see if it works. If you don’t have the Reader, you can download it for free at www.adobe.com/ .

Yes, .PDF DOES WORK. I use it all the time in my business.
