Legally Functioning Website?

OK, so am starting a small t-shirt company based in Atlanta, Georgia. The company’s sales are ALL online. I know there are tons of things I must have in place to legally function. Do I need a business licensee to operate? Also do I have to file taxes, how do I got about charging taxes on my site. What else is needed to that I can legally run a functioning website?

Please don’t give me some STUPID scam site or something. I was genuine answers. Thanks!

Since your business is based in Georgia, you’ll need whatever liceneses are required by the state of Georgia, at minimum you’ll probably need a business license either from the state and / or the county your in. You’ll also have to pay state income and federal tax on income from your business. Charging sales tax on your website, you’ll need to talk to the person that designed your website or look into an e-commerce package that would have this included.
