Custom T Shirt Heat Transfers
a few questions about screenprintingw PT.2?
3) do i need to get a nice color printer for my computer? if so laser or inkjet? what brand would be a good one?
4) do i need any art/photoshop software? programs like corel draw or photoshop? im not very artistic, but i have friends that are and could draw designs for me. i would need software to design anything i wanted to draw. what is some good software?
5) what is stenciling? again, i had never heard of this until i found this message board.
6) what is the difference in heat transfers? how does it work?
im trying to learn all i can about the whole aspect of creating custom t-shirts. im on the board of all the local sports and churches in the area, so i dont think finding cutomers will be difficult, just learning how will be the challenge. so to anyone who could answer my questions, offer any suggestions/advice it would be greatly appreciated. thanks alot.

3. u can use both inkjet or laser printers for printing transferes. i have a HP inkjet printer and it works for me.
4. u may want to use a photoshop where u can store photo images. u can aslo edit photos in a photo shop. u may want to consider an art or paint shop type soft ware that u can use for graphics and lettering. u may want to take a trip to Business Depo, i’m sure they can recomend some software for u.
5. stenceling is using an immage that is cut from something and painting or colouring over it to create a pattern or design.
6. the difference in heat transfers is basically just the amount of heat needed for materials like cotton or canvas. u can put them directly into your computer let it dry before doing anything with it, print an immage onto them and iron it onto material.
it may take a couple of tries to get it right but don’t get frustrated if your determined to do this.
hope that helps u out a little good luck
