On Sunday, February 18th, Fox News Channel delivered the first of two pilot episodes of the conservative news parody The Half Hour News inclined Hour.

Creator Joel Surnow, best known as the creator of the popular television channel Fox 24, describes the new comedy like "The Daily Show for conservatives."

"We're not looking to be balanced," said Surnow. "For our program, is one specific thing we're doing."

That thing is specific biting satire of the American political left. A promotional site for the show, warned potential viewers of the agenda may be offensive for "the left, the extreme left, Anyone left standing, Gay Penguins, lawyers, the ACLU, anyone with the ACLU on behalf of them Democrats, People who voted for the Democrats, people who know Democrats, Gay Penguins, Illegal Aliens, Space Aliens, Tom Cruise … "

A single clip of the series, posted on YouTube.com before the show first aired, was viewed over 350,000 times in one week and received over 3,500 comments, most of which the Liberals were criticizing the show as "lame". The clip is a segment on Barack Obama, mentioned his drug use in adolescence. Then also satirize Oprah Winfrey's magazine, O, by advertising "BO, Barrack Obama Magazine, a publication promising" not tell mama, I'm for Obama "t-shirts with a paid subscription.

The program also swipes global warming alarmists in a segment of the "six degrees of global warming, "where an actor played a former television presenter and current weather that could tie into global warming as the cause various problems facing the world in six steps or less.

The program also included an interview with "T" Che Guevara shirt-seller called "Lenny" defending his practice of selling shirts depicting left-murderous dictators and revolutionaries.

Between segments, there were false PSAs showing an American Civil Liberties Union members holding the group's more controversial actions, such as the fight to ensure the neo-Nazis right to march in Skokie, Illinois, and the right of pregnant women for cocaine use and not be accused of a crime.

It was the comedy show? Probably depends on who you talk to. The Liberals have been described as "mean" and full of "personal attacks". Conservatives have responded that this might said of the satire of virtually all leading politicians.

"You can activate any program and see Bush being beaten," Surnow, told Variety. "There's really nothing there for those who want satire that tilts right."

For now, at least it's not.

The second pilot episode of The Half Hour News Hour will air Sunday, March 4th at 10 pm on the Fox News Channel after the network will decide whether or not to pick up the show.
