Some old gay people find it offensive. I was part movement of gay and lesbian civil rights during the 1970's and most of my generation lost to AIDS during the 80 and 90. Be proud what I was, and remains, an important part of life. Right next to the band, if they were walking down Santa Monica Boulevard in San Vicente in West Hollywood, I think it would Heat a large number of passersby. Many have died and are dying of AIDS. I think it could be misinterpreted. Hope this helps.
