Have you ever wondered how it feels to be a construction worker? From the time we got up, our day is in stark contrast to the work typical office. The hours of the morning – right before the start of the workday, are the only "routine" times of day. And for me, are particularly nice.

If you were a construction worker, this is how the morning starts from:

It all begins when the alarm clock is activated anywhere 4:00-4:30. At this point, a normal office worker would go in the shower, but not a construction worker. Why? Because why bother taking a shower when you're about to be extremely dirty. In addition, she showered the night before so it's definitely enough clean.

You slip on your jeans (which suitably arranged on the floor before going to bed), then socks, pull a shirt on and either throw a cap on his head or wet your hair down. The last step to start your day as a construction worker is to park your car and side boots.

Take your bucket of tools and a short walk from the parking lot to the base of the new building construction site is catering truck parked on the sidewalk (who affectionately call "the roach coach "). Your awning and a dozen men are making the rounds – ordering coffee and breakfast burritos, cheap jokes saying to each other, and flirting with the Mexican girl in the truck to cook their food.

Downtown Los Angeles is still dark but the horizon is starting to shine from dawn imminent. The streets are completely empty. The cycle of traffic lights from red to green even though no traffic whatsoever. In both directions, homeless line the sidewalks, putting side by side, huddled in their blankets, pieces of cardboard. To them it's another long night on the streets of downtown Los Angeles reaches its end.

Soon the catering truck driver lowers the awning, starts his truck, and spits out another workplace. When the sun finally rises, a guard security strip to close the doors long separating construction site downtown LA. You turn now, with his bucket of tools in hand, and walk in virtue of the elevation high construction to finally begin their daily work.
